HBM's original Lucien-metabolite brother (HMB - Beta-hydroxy beta-methylbutyrate) was first discovered back in the 1940s. Using the latest in sports science, our Research Scientist (Jeff Golini of Kre-Alkalyn® fame) went to work on creating the 2nd generation to this compound for All American EFX. The result is HBM. While HMB represented an important step forward in supplement science, today's high-end athletes demand much more than 1940s technology can offer. Why is it Better Than HMB & How Does HBM Work?
Our formulator discovered that by removing the beta bonds from the chain, he could create a more potent version (Calcium Hydroxy-Methylbutyrate) with greater absorption and protein sparing capabilities. Our scientists are not completely sure how HBM works, but one popular theory is that it supports the body's ability to minimize protein breakdown and damage to muscle cells that occurs through intense weight-training and exercise. By minimizing protein breakdown, HBM may help tip protein balance in favor of muscle growth. This simply means bigger and better muscle growth.
How to Use HMB:
Take two capsules, three times a day with meals. No loading phase is need with this product. It is recommended that you use HBM for 8 weeks and then take 1 week off and start cycle over again.
